Regarding the original "internets" cat macro, I like the way it manages to subtly combine and evoke two entirely different pop cultural references, each of which has tremendous comedic potential, in a unique and seamless way.
The first is obviously the GWB "internets" reference which has already become the stuff of comedic legend.
The second, less obvious (and possibly unintentional) is how the "Hello sirs" combined with the aforementioned capitalization/spelling problems evokes the "Nigerian Email Scam" phenomenon which has existed for at least a decade but has just more recently become comedic fodder in mainstream popular culture. It's like if GWB were a Nigerian Email Scammer, that would be his perfect sales pitch.
Holeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee crap! That's hilarious... I laughed so hard @ HoverCat that I scared my daughter!
This is in the top 10 all time for my personal HF faves (a 3 way tie between a smoking brisket thread, college girls & Mrs. Mac's Toaster are in the top 3).
