There was evidence that the 2004 election in Ohio was manipulated. There is an expert at NYU who was talking about it at the time and also believes the 2020 election was manipulated.

BUT...the left seems to believe claims of manipulation are ONLY legitimate if THEY are the ones making the claims. If someone on the right makes the same sort of claim, then it is fantastical whimsy and conspiratorial in nature, with absolutely no basis in fact.

I think election fraud is bipartisan and happens much more in small, local races that can be swung by small numbers.

My wife and I were probably the only Democrats at our beach house last week out of about 35 total (there was one Q guy who had some KKK tatoos I assume he got in prison). Over beers, when the less political guys were out of earshot, a conservative guy and I were talking. He said "I voted for Biden. I'm not real happy about it but I refuse to vote that other guy. He's destroying our political culture." I just said "It's sad that we have hundreds of million people and these are the best we come up with. We both know a handful of people who would be better." As my wife pointed out later, his wife would be good. She's a commodity trader and I agree.

Thinking about this one more, doesn't any jurisdiction there have noise limits after hours? No local or state police can do anything? C'mon... Surely you can take away the people who loudly protesting.

And threats to kids - his own or neighbors - isn't arrestable?

The problem is those people who would be good are too smart to get into politics. You have to be essentially be power hungry to want to get into politics, which generally leads to not a good elected official. It's why we still look to George Washington as a prime example of a leader. He could have been president (king?) for life, but instead said "two terms and I'm out."

F. O. His name was Kevin. He had a small “prison-y” tattoo on one forearm and a small hooded guy on the other. He drank 7/7 and crown royal and coke. He was awesome to my six year old. He knew the guy who grew up next to me who’s a 63 year old meth addict. They were both body shop people. He watched videos on YouTube all day. This is one story he told us about. It was 27 ft tall in his telling of the story.

I didn't attack you, I attacked your comment. Now, "F.O." sounds like a personal attack here akin to your crying about "FOAD".
 
He also had some story about the us and Russia leaving 404 prisoners on an island as a social experiment and only one escaped. I can’t find that on the inter webs. He was kooky. Q may have been a little off but I think it’s a good quick and dirty description.

the kid loved the crab hunting they took him on at night.
