DAY 7
Thanks again for your continued support. The doctors tell us they might try removing her breathing tube tomorrow since she's doing most of it on her own now. They tell us not to get our hopes up too much since about 50 percent of the time patients will need the ventilator again temporarily since they become dependant on it.
Her mom was giving her a sponge bath early this morning and they thought they saw her foot twitch at one time. She's still showing some activity with her eyes like she's responding to our voices, but they are still not fully open yet.
Still very critical. Still trying to get a handle on her blood pressure. And we won't know for some time what kind of damage she's received to her motor functions.
Wish I had some big news to report, but we'll take every little bit of good news like this that we can right now. It's my prayer that these little miracles will eventually combine to form one big one.
God bless you all.
