Hannah Update 2/15/04

DAY 7

Thanks again for your continued support. The doctors tell us they might try removing her breathing tube tomorrow since she's doing most of it on her own now. They tell us not to get our hopes up too much since about 50 percent of the time patients will need the ventilator again temporarily since they become dependant on it.

Her mom was giving her a sponge bath early this morning and they thought they saw her foot twitch at one time. She's still showing some activity with her eyes like she's responding to our voices, but they are still not fully open yet.

Still very critical. Still trying to get a handle on her blood pressure. And we won't know for some time what kind of damage she's received to her motor functions.

Wish I had some big news to report, but we'll take every little bit of good news like this that we can right now. It's my prayer that these little miracles will eventually combine to form one big one.

God bless you all.

-Craig

Little steps every day will get you a long way. Hannah is being prayed for by alot of HornFans, and I'm sure many more.

Father, thank you for little steps as well as big ones, and please continue to heal Hannah, give strength to her and those who love her, skill and wisdom to those who work with her, and your peace and love to all involved.

And Craig, tell Hannah that she do anything through God who strengthens her. Phil. 4:13.

Today I shared your prayer request for Hannah with a small group of men who meet to pray at my church on Sunday morning before Sunday School.

Also, during Sunday School I shared your prayer request for Hannah with my Sunday School Department.

This has spread requests for prayer for Hannah by several dozen people. Hannah is now on at least two different prayer lists at my church.

Remember to look to the Lord for your needs, and the needs of your family, as well as for Hannah. God will give you what you need at the time you need it.

God bless you.

Our children are our most precious gift, and some days I realize they are here to teach us more than we can ever teach them about life.

I do believe in miracles; little Hannah (and you and your wife) are in my prayers. Hang in there.

We are witnessing the faithfulness of our Lord. He will not forsake us. He hears the prayers of the righteous. God bless little Hannah.

We are also praying for you Craig and the rest of the family.

Continuing to hold Hannah and her family close in my prayers each and every day. May the small miracles for Hannah, emotional strength for her parents, and the compassion from her doctors continue. As a mother of three (and seizures in the past) I know how frightening this is.

Gfunkhorn - what beautiful prayers! You have an awesome gift, my friend. Please don't stop.

good luck with it all. thoughts and prayers from the smw family.

May the Lord bless and keep Hannah
The Lord make His face shing upon Her
The Lord be graceous to Her
The Lord look upon Her with favor
And give her peace!

We added Hannah to our Disciple Bible study class prayer list tonight, and to our church prayer list yesterday. Let us know how she's doing.

How is she doing? My wife, kids and I have been praying for her, and the rest of your family, and the doctors. I'm sure you are spending every possible moment at her side. I believe in the healing power of the Holy Spirit, and that little girl is in the thoughts and prayers of a lot of good people.
