Guys, it's been awhile ...(UPDATE 5/9)

I'd hate to have an injury like that during football season. I'd probably reinjure myself during a moment of either extreme exultation or extreme frustration.
 
I used to think "broken femur" were the two most painful sounding words in the English language.

They've been replaced by "broken femurs" after this post.
 
Sorry to hear of both the accident and your condition. Life is no cakewalk for you I'm guessing. You must be one tough SOB. I admire anyone who struggles through adversity like that.
 
Wow. Both femurs broken and a pelvic fracture. Dude, that sucks. Take lots of pain meds. No point toughing this kind of thing out. That plus the arthrogryposis (which I had to look up).... bad luck, man.
 
Thanks for all of the well-wishes, guys. I appreciate it.

I went to see the doctor Friday. Got my stitches out. Everything seems to be progressing, if not more slowly than I'd like.

Wow, my signature is eerily ironic. Ugh. I need to change that, pronto. LOL.

my son was in an accident back in Dec.. totaled 2 cars , thank God he only had airbag burns on his arm and the other guy was fine.. that'll teach my son to NOT be out driving at 4am.. scared the crap out of me getting the 5am call.
