Different games. Mizzou played a lot better than vs Michigan and Quinnipiac's shots were not falling like they had been against us.

I am more worried about who is going to step up in scoring when it's needed. It definitely needs to be a group effort, a couple more points here and there from everyone.
 
Fordham vs Washington is turning into a good game. The Huskies up by three at the end of the first.
 
Fordham up by five at the half. 31-26. Cavanaugh for Fordham lit up the Huskies for 16 first half points on 5-10 from the field, including 4-8 from BTA.
 
Fordham up 14 at the end of three, 51-37. They are looking pretty sharp. I bet Duke is wondering how they lost to Washington. :smile1:
 
39-14 Horns at the half. Wow, even better defense in the second quarter, giving up only six points in the quarter. :bow:
 
I am quite surprised.
I figured:

1. Since Michigan blew out MO
2. And TX turns in such a sub-par performance yesterday
3. Considering the loss of Lashaan

That the Wolverines would beat up on the Horns today. Guess it doesn't pay for me to figure. Maybe this is why I'm not a coach or a sports predictor. Lopsided game actually, so far. TX looks like completely different team.

Michigan looks shell shocked now. Even intimidated. What a change from last night! I still love Audrey Warren. She does it all. Hits a 3, get rebounds and what a sweet drive to the paint and step thru move!!! I'm loving this team!
 
very sloppy last three minutes allowed Michigan to nine points off the lead and get them within striking distance, albeit still a bit far. 52-33 Texas at the end of three. :hookem2:
 
Horns win it 69-52. Audrey was the Player of the Game! :yippee:

Three players in double figures, led by Jatarie with 16, Audrey with 15 and Sug with 13. Jatarie and Sug each had seven rebs, Audrey had six and Danni five. Sug had seven assists while Audrey was second with three. Destiny and Audrey led the team with two steals each. Olamide had two blocks and Audrey and Charli each picked up one of the remaining two. Danni was 2-5 from BTA while Audrey was 2-3.

Solid team win with all nine available playing and eight scoring. :hookem2:
 
Do we know anything for certain about Higgs?

Warren came to Texas ready to play. Way to go Audrey.

This freshmen class SEEMS more like the freshmen classes that we use to see with WCBB even though I’m sure they all want to play. I don’t know if there were promises from Coach Aston with last years class or what but it SEEMS that the freshmen this year are content with the playing time that they’ll get and have excepted their roles and understand that they must be patient. You never know if that’s the case but it SEEMS that way.
