Griffin

I think BG also got a taste of the NBA in the example of Dex (not skill wise but size).

BG is slightly undersized for a low post player and the bigger more athletic bodies in the NBA (not found on Iowa St.) will make him change his game and add more face up looks and jump shots.

And yes, his dad is an idiot but just being a dad so I can cut him some slack. But the truth is BGs lack of height had plenty of trouble with the size of Dex and the double team. While he is the best player in the NCAA this year it is a down year. He will be very good, but prob not great in the NBA as he is undersized for his position.

and if we are talking shoulda woulda coulda's

TX might not have the lapse in intensity they did in the second half after seeing BG still on the bench, allowing OU to go on their run. IF BG stays in the game its just as likely TX blows out OU matching their intensity in the first half against BG

Prior to the game last Saturday you were probably ready to guarantee that OU would win that game too. Of course it's a possibility. Don't you have to agree that UT handled him pretty well when he WAS on the court?

Sure, but he's also accusing someone else's "baby boy" of intentionally trying to take him out. I'm very sorry Blake suffered a concussion or whatever and wouldn't wish that on him but come on...there is risk along with the glory and "Dad" needs to accept that.

You guys that think that OU is better without Griffin, would have to argue that UT iwould be better off without Kevin Durant......are you really going to argue that point as well?

With KD, we lost in the round of 32 after barely beating Penn. Without KD, we get to the elite 8 losing to runner-up memphis. You could make a case that we were better. Sometimes other players step up and quit watching the stars.

Actually, the victory by that team was over New Mexico State. The 2006 team struggled with Penn, as have many teams over the years...
