aggy claiming his Dad is unhappy about some posters comments (on another site) & that JG has officially postponed his decision announcement.

Any truth to this???

An anonymous blog called Thunderdome claimed Texas was paying top recruits and that Gray's father was pimping his son for $250K. No substantiation, just a faceless liar referencing unnamed "highly placed" sources. Some of the Aggies at Texags have been balleyhooing it.

Mr. Gray, as I understand it, is very angry and going after the scumbag who posted the lies. The blog has been taken down from its free site. Clearly a case of a jealous rival who will stoop to anything to feed his hate.

I have read on other sites like Recruitocosm that the Grays have postponed their announcement to pursue the libeler.
 
Did I just hear 'Aggie claiming' and 'Any truth to this?' in the same topic? Enough said

Well, postponement sucks for those of us that want him in the fold ASAP, but if they can get some justice I certainly don't blame them for choosing to do so.

Aggy tardation knows no bounds.

Aggy is out in full force claiming the blogger was a Longhorn fan.

Now I don't care how many teeth you claim to have but NO ONE with even a single brain cell would try to rationalize that a Texas fan would absolutely slander the University and Gray.

100 billion kinds of retarded going on over there. They don't think, not even for one second.
 
I imagine that the "brainiac" agroid behind that gargantuan fail of an attempt to smear UT FB and the Grays prolly wasn't clever enough to digitally cover his tracks, so to speak and can only imagine that he is either A) undergoing a pretty intensive interrogation by Texas' & even perhaps the Fed's finest or B) is shaking like a rattlesnake tail under a rock somewhere in the B/CS area.

Either way I'm sure Mr. Gray will have some choice words to offer over the next few days. Suffice to say it would appear that aggy has only dug a deeper hole for themselves. Just when you think they couldn't sink any lower.

The best thing the Grays can do is to commit to Texas and be a part of a 4 year sweep of the Ags while on the 40. That would eat up the Thunderdome Agroids.

Matter of fact, The Grays ought to go ahead and cut the list down to just two and teach the Agroid that lying is unacceptable.
 
Prop, I'm with you on this. Speaking of slingin' mud, by the time the Gray family is finished with the now-deceased Thunderdome, anybody connected with that misbegotten blog will have a mud hole stomped in them in court. If I was a fan of agricultural, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for J. Gray to commit there.
 
This does bring up some interesting issues. If everyone is to be considered a journalist by virtue of posting on the internet, shouldn't Thunderdome be subject to the same laws that apply to regular publications? Can't he be held liable for publishing lies, and both prosecuted and sued?
I hope the truth and the identity of this person comes to light soon.
 
The Gray family should (and undoubtedly will) do things on THEIR timeline.

They owe no one a speedy decision.

If they want or need time to skewer this internet ***, more power to them.

sources are indicating that the announcement will take place on the 22nd as normal.

and of course this is a nickname. my real name is "proposition" joseph.
 
i doubt there is going to be a significant investigation or any legal action.

i think they were scare tactics. i think it's likely that the gray's are going to put it behind them and move on.
