Good home style cooking?

Oh geez-louise. To answer I think the second post's queston...yes, Hoover's has take out. Give them anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes and it is ready...unless they are slammed. If they are busy, go to the bartender and he places your order. Ask for gravy on the side too if you get the chicken fried pork chop and taters. It will come in handy. Hoovers is greatness.

Don't know HJ; but from the tone of his posts, maybe his style of dining leans more towards College Station. There are plenty of restaurants that could suit his needs there.

fair enough, like I said before we grew up WAY different.
And yes I agree, some people just don't get IT.

I also agree (if Mexican food is the way you want to go) that Angies is incredible.
The reason it is so much like home cooking is because it used to be someones house that was converted into a restaruant. You eat in different rooms (living room area, dining room area, etc.).
It is one of the favorites, especially for older locals.

racist statement from Crayon:
I hate anyone from Liechtenstein. Anyone from that place is a dirty Liechenstatener and is a piece of crap.... In addition, anyone from Malta is a filthy bastard.

Damnit, Chance! I am sick and tired of people on this damn board slamming people from College Station. I'm not from College Station, but I have friends from there and not every person in College Station is back-woods trash...just as so, every person from Austin is not a white stuck-up techie. Get real, and practice what you preach when it comes to tolerance!
