good hole in the wall restaurants

I like El Zunzal on East 7th by the HEB. It's Salvadoran food which I really like.

Most of the staff doesn't speak English so having one Spanish speaker is usually helpful.

i think mike's pub has to be the definition of a hole in the wall. been going there with my dad since i was pretty damn young.

Saccones Pizza.
The one out on 183 near Lake Creek burned and has yet to re-open (I think) but the original just between Cedar Park and Leander on 183 is still open.

Great Jersey style pizza and their Philly Cheesesteak pwns all others. It makes Texadelphia look like McDonalds. And it is only $6 and weighs about 3 pounds.

All ingredients used there are Boar's Head by the way.

also on the backside of Catfish Parlour, on Burleson, there is Casa Moreno's.....very good tortillas they make there

The girlfriend and I do breakfast at Kneaded Pleasures on Far West all the time (in the shopping strip with the post office and the blockbuster). The owners are an older friendly couple and the food/prices are great. It is really one of the most under rated coffee shops/bakeries/restaurants in town.
