We'll probably be down by about 20 at some point late in the second half, and end up losing by 12 after chipping away with a bunch of jacked up threes at the end.
 
I know both teams played on Saturday, but I'm hoping we have the intangibles. Seems as if the team on 2 day's rest that has to play away would be more affected by it. We should have a good crowd. I also like our defense against them.
So, DJ not throwing up 25 prayers, I think we win by 10.

We look too lost on offense, and our defense has been inconsistent. If this were a road game, I think we would get hammered.

I think they jump out to a big lead as we always seem to wait until 8-10 min into the game to start scoring consistently. We'll play catchup for the rest of the game.
 
man some of you guys crack me up....

This game will come down to the same things that have mattered in every game this year for UT.

1. Will Justin Mason contribute on the offensive end? 8-10 pts will do wonders...
2. Will Connor Atchley be able to make 2-3 3's to keep defense honest? Then the pick and pop action with Augustin and Atchley becomes a lot tougher to defend
3. Will Augustin play like the 1st team All-America or will he have another subpar performance and shoot the ball really bad? 3 of 15 from the field will get us a butt kicking vs KU

If the answer is yes to those 3 questions we will win. If the answer is No to #3, we will lose. If the answer is No to #1 or #2, but answer #3 is a resounding yes the we have a good chance.

pick and pop and keeping the d honest will be so crucial. If AJ stays as hot as he is this MAY help a lack of DJ production or smothering defense.
 
Wash U horn- you are crazy and giving a bad name to my school. More than DJ would get playing time for them, and there is no way we lose 10 games out of 10 in austin.

But, you are toward the right direction. I think we lose 7 or 8 out oof 10 in Austin, and we are not as talented as them (but I think we have at least 4 guys that would crack their rotation in some part).

I'm thinking it's a 12 point loss- call it 84-72. Hope I'm wrong though as I'm driving in for the game like 3 hours with my dad.

Gonna leave in 15 minutes or so.
 
Hope I am wrong... but the Horns will struggle early in the first half, AJ will be in early foul trouble and 'hawks will lead by 12 at the half. Second half 'hawks bench is productive and increase the lead to 20 before the Horns cut it to 6 before having to foul like crazy at the end.

You really haven't been paying attention if you think that Damion and/or AJ will get PT at KU. Maybe charity PT at the end of a blow-out. I love AJ and Damion but they are just too inconsistent and KU has other and better options on their roster. I love my Horns but if both teams come to play, we have no real shot against KU. But teams have an off night and upsets occur, I guess that is why they play the game.

Well, Kansas does lead the conference in scoring.

The total is 147, so the oddsmakers see it as 76-71 KU, in that range. If Texas is going to win, I think they're going to have to walk it up more and control the pace. They don't have the bodies to run for 40 minutes, as much as they'd like to.
 
With guard play our strong point, the Horns need to maximize their opportunity to slash to the basket and create scoring opportunities for themselves and their teammates. I think DJ and Abrams lead an up-tempo Horn scoring blitz and Texas wins 91-85.
