Good God, what a *****

He is here illegally. He is a criminal. She exposed him when his fraudulent act complicated her attempt at the American dream of homeownership. ????

Karma is a ***** indeed.

She is a focking b!tch, no doubt about it. What goes around comes around. IF the guy was paying taxes, I have no problems with him being here.

Not surprised this could happen in Georgia.

Sometimes Karma doesn't happen to bad people.

She's a piece of ****.

Whether it's "karma" or someone "asked" to "take care of a problem", I would like to think that things don't end well for her.

Immigration is the process by which America steals the best and brightest from other nations. There is no reason not to welcome anyone willing to come here and make it. The only real argument against this policy is our bloated mess of a social safety net, which seems to fall on top of the poor rather than supporting them from underneath. I am very interested to see what happens when the second generation of hispanic immigrants- legally born American citizens- go to college and make money.

hornin, I think she wanted to live next to mama.

164k is pretty cheap for Atlanta I thought. I'll bet she wouldn't have qualified anyway.

She's a *****. He better be paying taxes though.

I'd rather have 500,000 illegal aliens like Lorenzo Jimenez than one native born ***** like Nicole Griffin. I can f*cking assure you that he has contributed 100x the amount to his community than that spiteful ***** has.

She's just a horrible, horrible person.

She is a flaming *****.

As for the "cost" of immigrants, it is ridiculous to calculate it based on a strict calculus of taxes paid vs. gov't benefits received.

You look at that in terms of tax dollars taken out of your pocket. Fine. Let's give you back those tax dollars. For every American, that's in the neighborhood of $220 a year (using round numbers of the net "tax loss" and population of 300mm). So, you now have $220 in your hand, that you can put in your pocket . . . not so fast.

I'll be needing about $100 of that, to pay for the extra cost of produce at the grocery store, orange juice, etc. -- stuff illegals pick that will go up in price when that cheap labor goes away. Oh, and I'll be needing another $50, to reflect the increased cost of meals in restaurants, both because of the increased produce costs and the fact that the restaurants have to pay more for dishwashers, etc. And you need to throw in another $50 in increased office rents -- that cheap night cleaning crew your landlord used to have is gone, and he's going to pass that price increase on to you as increased rent. And toss another $200 in, because the cost of your home, whether you buy or rent, just went up, because the labor expense went up. All these expenses are passed on to you, the consumer.

No, I didn't do any hard math on any of those things. I cite them only as possible examples -- some could be higher, some could be lower. But let's be very clear -- you the American consumer benefit DIRECTLY from the savings realized by using cheap, illegal labor. If you take away that savings, that's money out of your pocket. So, illegal labor keeps money in your pocket. You need to consider that in your calculus of what illegals "cost" this economy.

The laws of economics don't lie. We wouldn't have illegal labor in this country if we didn't realize an economic benefit from it.

NoUserNameForMe - FAIR is hardly an objective source when it comes to the economics of immigration. The fact of the matter is that 99.9% of serious economists agree that immigration still provides a net economic benefit to the US. I personally think they provide a social benefit as well, as per the story in the original post the average immigrant is hard-working and family oriented. It's fine to disagree with this, to take umbrage, for example, at the failure of many immigrants to learn English even after several years in this country, but at least present that argument honestly.

I am about was WASP-y as they come, but I've got years of experience in working with immigrant labor, and that experience tells me (as I alluded to in my first post on this thread) that I would FAR rather have the average immigrant in this country than the Nicole Griffins of the world, and everything they represent.

He should have entered this country legally and then he wouldn't have been sweating it all these years. He said himself, that he knew this could happen one day. He does seem like a nice guy, but bottom line is he came here illegally.

I agree with Aces. In fact, I think I got a pic of the guy running through our ranch the other night. Sorry, but I have little sympathy for them. They cut down fences and destroy property. If a cow gets out and gets hit by a car, guess who gets sued? Not the Mexican Consulate, I assure you.

He took advantage of slimy situation. She took advantage of a slimy situation. Why all the hate on her? Some of you need to get rid of your guilt of being white.
