Goal Line Blitz

With all of the new promotion crap, my team just went from capped 16 to an uncapped league. We are looking for >20 players at OT, OG, K and a backup QB around 15 or so.

It is a great team with active GMs. Everyone is a little irritated by the shake-ups, but it is a solid team which is serious about winning.

One of my guy's teams got promoted from Canada BBB (level 13 cap at the start of last season) to Canada A, where most players are around level 30.

That is teh suck.
 
That happened to us too. We did some pretty mean footwork yesterday and found a team in BBB11 who had been demoted from A after they had already begun recruiting... so we are going back down.

In fact, I've gotten 2 other offers (one from BBB12 and one from Africa A) this morning. If you want to move back down, it seems that there are takers.
 
Well, that Titans team won't be in existance until next season, so for now Ahmard Hall, USMC is a level 14 FB without a team. Anybody know of a good low-level team he could sign with?
 
Stat that lvl.14 is a *****. Can't go to the capped leagues, won't get looked at by a non-capped league. I might consider looking in Canada BBB and Africa A which has a lot of recent CPU teams with a 21 cap.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a OLB around lvl 20-21?
 
Yeah, I hate how they've made it so that it's a huge pain in the *** when your player passes lvl 8 and can't re-sign with a D-League team but then until he gets to lvl 17 or 18 hardly any human teams want him even as a backup.
 
Stat, I agree. This game has an absolutely great concept, but the admins are not thinking strategically. It seems like they spend a lot of time answering the vocal minority and ignore some of the larger problems... like the lvl 14 problem. They should introduce a second layer D league which would serve through lvl 15 or so. Even if they were only half season contracts it would help the players quite a bit.

Personally, I'd love to have more longhorns on my team and I'd recruit you cept we're locked in at FB.
 
I have another LVL 14 Problem. My QB, Vincent McCoy cannot find a home! Do you guys know of anybody looking for a QB? He is just wasting away in the D league, and when his contract is up he obviously will be stuck without a team at all.

lvl 14 is the worst place to be right now. you might have to sit without a team until the cap raises at midseason to 16. then i would pm every cap team that has a QB of a lower level than you.
 
I'm on a human-owned team that could actually benefit from LVL 12-16 players at every position except QB, FB, and FS. Just don't expect to win many games the first year.

The qb's been unemployed since the start of the curent season. Any opinions on whether its better to keep trying vs. just retiring him and getting a new position player?
 
My USA BBB team that finished third in their conference this year needs lvl 32+: DT, WR, CB, HB, K

Anybody need L26 fullback? I was with a good team in terms of W/L but the owners never did anything at all, just abandoned the site I guess, so now it's a falling apart CPU team.
 
Dublin Dragoons in Western Europe AAA#1 need a high-level/well-built WR1, C and FS to be starters. Probably around level 50ish but build is more important than level. WR1 should be a speed guy with high First Step. Center should have 100+ in strength and blocking. FS should have minimum 90 speed.

Also would like to have new starter at ROLB (preferable 90+ speed and 60+ vision) and backup at NT.

Dublin got promoted to AAA and made the playoffs. Depth was our biggest killer. With 3 of the 7 teams above us gone and having lost to 3 of the remaining 4 by a total of 4 points, Dublin is in a position to make a serious run at the AAA conference and league championship this season. We have some serious holes to fill first.

Scotch Snobs in Casual League BBB#4 are looking for all positions level 15-16. Most of us are slow-building and will be moving on to the Inisheer Negligees in South America A#2 at the end of this season before moving on to Dublin. If you want to win this season, the Snobs aren't your team.

Channel Four News Team Smelly Pirate Hookers need all level 1s. Prefer slow-builders, but not necessary. Slow-builders have the option of moving to Scotch in their second season, then Inisheer in their 3rd or 4th season, then Dublin once they get to around level 40.

The team I'm on still needs RBs and WRs, preferably above L40 but 35-40 will be ok.

Not that good of a team currently but the management is trying and pays attention to what's going on, which I really like.
