Gingrich soars to the top of the Republican field

Here is a well written article providing an excellent endorsement of Newt Gingrich in today's Washington Times:

So after Gingrich flames out again, who will be the next anti-Romney candidate? Will it be somebody who hasn't had a chance yet or do the Rs go back to one of previous flavors of the month?

I am typing this slowly. What does Obama's book have to do with Gingrich being a (revisionist) historian for Freddie Mac? I am not seeing the connection. Are you saying that what Gingrich got amounts to an inappropriate use of taxpayer funds?

Michtex, you realize that you just picked one poll from about 2 or 300 polls. They all say something different. I have several I would love to show you but you will dimiss them because of who took the poll. Just like I'm dismissing your silly attempt that what you put up something you think backs your opinion. Pretty lame.

An executive department purchases 70k worth of the executive in chief's book. I am sure there was a pressing and legitimate need for 70k worth of political propaganda.

Yawn. You are so transparent. If it was GWB, you would have a completely different opinion.

The vetting of Newt Gingrich continues....
In an article in today's Washington Post, it was revealed that Gingrich's healthcare think tank, The Center For Health Transformation, received payments of about $37 million dollars over the past 8 years from various health care and insurance companies.

Together with the $1.8 million that his consulting firm is reported to have received from Fannie & Freddie, I have to say I had no idea what an outstanding businessman this guy is. I thought Mitt Romney was a business stud, but clearly so is Newt Gingrich. The more this kind of thing is reported, the more his reputation as an effective businessman is likely to grow, which will of course be to his benefit in the campaign.

Also, Democrats are fond of attacking Republicans for having no plans or proposals for reforming health care. Clearly, Newt Gingrich has health care reform plans out the ying-yang. Once Obamacare is thrown out (I am hoping and praying), if Newt Gingrich is the President we can see what real leadership on this important issue looks like for a change.

You can really see how Newt scares the daylights out of the Liberals, they don't attack his ideas as much as they just lash out him in every means possible.
