Deez, please explain the value of a "surplus" when not one dime is spent on paying down the debt. The fact is that the government spent more than it took in under Clinton in every single year - just like it has in every year of every other modern president.

The difference is that Clinton did a great job of disguising what he was doing and using accounting tricks to make everything look good. By your logic, Clinton ALSO inherited a surplus and wasted it.
