I was a little skeptical when I saw that he moved up to #40 on the [/url]Rivals100 ...

Then I watched this kids highlights, and I was blown away. He uses his frame well and also shows good strength.

Any thoughts on him?

Road grader with great feet and surprising speed. Supposedly a good student, too.

At least three of the OL commits seem to have very little body fat at all: Ashcraft, Walters, and Porter.

Our OL is is going to be DOMINANT.

I read, I think on this sight, where his high school coach says he has a real nasty streak in him also. It looks like a great combination to me.

Good football player, and great in the classroom. He played basketball one year, he air lifted an Odessa High kid about 10 yards before the wall ended his flight. He will be another great player in the long line of Permian players that attended UT. In case you forgot, Billy Dale, Britt Hager, Glen Halsell, Joe Bob Bizzel, and Roy Williams. That is all I can remember but that is an impressive group.

That is an impressive list. Here's looking forward to Mr. Porter making his own mark at the 40 acres, just like those previous Permian Panther greats.

Permian played its black and white game last week. Mr. Porter was very, very, impressive. I quit watching the game to focus on him. Who ever he lined up against was either 10 yards down field or lying flat on their back. He will be a keeper. Glad he is a horn.
