Well, IMHO there's no such thing as an ugly win. It's a conference win and even sweeter against Aggie

Tried like hell there to blow a bases loaded with no outs opportunity there but a hard shot to third goes through legs and winning run scores. Texas gave them the lead off hitter in top nine in similar fashion so the baseball gods even the score line.

Horns win 4-3 in 11. I would say Ruffin is done for weekend but I said that last Friday and he came back next day to close as well so who knows.

Great job by Thomas to pick up win. Tough luck for Jungman who pitched seven scoreless left with 3 run lead and gets a no decision.

On to B/CS lets get tomorrow and win the series.

That was one hell of a game last night.

As far as Bulldog pitching again this weekend, I heard last weekend that it's sometimes better to bring them back on the Sat game than the Sun game as it's easier to pitch after one day after a big pitch count than letting the arm rest for two days. It's what they did last weekend so we'll see what happens tonight and Sunday.
