Looks like Mike Nesseth who replaced the starting pitcher, got injured after three pitches (I missed it, as I stepped out). He is their best pitcher, they say .. Oh boy, nothing goes right for the Huskers. Now a third pitcher come in to start the third.

Belt almost had it go out at left field, but the fielder managed to tap it in. Leadoff triple. top 3rd, no outs. Preston singles. Belts comes in. 4-0. Already 6 hits for us.

DP play bobbled on Rupp grounder. Only 1 out. Run scores from third. 5-0 now. Ooh, a great throw and 3rd base tag in the next single. Tommy Harmon does a Billy Martin with 3rd base ump. Harmon is out of there. 5-0 to bot third. 7 hits already for us.
