No way IMO this Texas team should be ranked this high, they have a great pitcher and some other decent pitchers but to me that is about it. This is just my opinion but color me unimpressed by Texas so far this year. Now 9 to 3 with a triple by Ok. State. What an ugly inning by Texas, they are waving the white flag.

Thornhill pitched well in the 8th. Last inning. Cowboys 10 runs on 14 hits and 1 error, Texas 3 runs on 10 hits and 1 error.

Great relief pitching by Randy McCurry, almost 5 innings and he gives up 2 hits and no runs.

I'm wondering if we'll actually average 3 runs/game in conference when all is said and done.

If the other team does not walk alot of Horns I would say this offense could average around 3 runs a game but not much more than that. They got 5 runs in 3 games against the Cowboys, Texas was kind of lucky to win that 1 to 0 game in 15 innings.

I just wish we could get a coach who cared as much about hitting as pitching. This will be a long season if changes are not made now.

We drove back from Stillwater on Monday.

Wind chill was near freezing all three games.

I'd like to believe that was why the team performed like it did, but I don't.

It's going to be a tough year for this team. Harmon needs to travel more and recruit some hitters.
