Bill Hicks- The fact I watched him from his first time on stage at the comedy Workshop might sway me I will admit. His dark sense of humor is very similar to my own.
Ron White is pretty funny too but not on a Bill Hicks level, I can't imagine the bread hicks would be knocking down in this political climate if he was still around... RIP
Not only did some posters not get the sarcasm of some of the first couple posts, but they also didn't get when it was clearly said to be a joke later in the thread.

this is the hardest "best" question ive seen on cafe. I can make equaly good cases for about a dozen comics. Hedburg, carlin, murphy, chapelle, mencia, martin, seinfeld, cosby, robin williams, pryor and Andrew Dice have all had me on the floor in pain.
