Front license plate

I'm a pretty hot number and I would have dropped to my knees and given him a job, but he drilled into his bumper. My swedish nymphomaniac roommate said she would have even given him a dirty Sanchez but for the fact that he desecrated his car by putting a license plate on it.

That is a good looking car. I like the custom hood and stripes. To be honest if the front bumper did not have the "cut out" I would feel the same way. But the "cut out" looks bad and covering it up with a licnese plate is not going to hurt the "looks" of the front bumper.

I should get to speed. I see lots of others cars do it. I know its illegal yet for some reason when I speed and get pulled over it feels as though I'm being picked on.

Is the hood scoop functional? I like the look, it looks custom. I also appreciate people that show "pride" in their car no matter what type of car it is.

fievel, like most cops, he didn't know the actual law. he is wrong, and putting a license plate on the dashboard to where it is easily visible is perfectly acceptable.

WOW. This entire thread and no one has the law right. sorry for the attitude.

Put the plate in your front windshield. Do not have it so that it is in any way unreadable, i.e. do NOT wedge it too far down in the dash.

Do that and you ARE complying with the law. I get these tickets dismissed regularly.

If you think I'm drilling holes in my Challenger or Charger SRT8's, you're crazy.

The law says "in the front", not "bolted to the frontmost part of the car."

In fact, in Mata v. State, a cocaine case appealed from here in Bell County to the Texas Ct. Crim. Appeals, the conviction was thrown out, since the court found the statute to not require the plate to be bolted to the bumper. That case is the prevailing interpretation of the statute and the language is the same.

Put the plate in the windshield. If you get a ticket, tell the cop he's full of ****. take the ticket to the prosecutor and explain. If they give you ****, PM me. I have yet to run in to ANY SINGLE city prosecutor who did not immediately dismiss the ticket once I went in and talked to them. They then call the cop to explain the law, which they SHOULD already know.

Geeze, it's just a Ford Mustang, not a vintage Aston Martin.

Not dissing your nice ride, but hey...obey the law and don't complain that "the other guy is gettin' away with it".
