Friend hurt on ski trip

A friend of mine (his name is Clark) is in a Denver hospital right now after having landed on his back. He took a jump wrong on skis and fell about 8 feet onto his back. He was coughing up blood and had blood in his urine, but that is clearing up. He fracture at least three spinous processes (part of vertebre where back muscles attach) and has had some pretty severe muscle spasms. His kidneys are both a little bruised and his spleen is also bruised. Doctors are watching his spleen very carefully because there is a chance of internal bleeding. They may do surgery in the next 24 hours if his spleen is more than just bruised. Please pray for Clark and his family as well as sthe doctors and the other specialists who are taking care of him.
