Friend hit by car

A friend of mine was out walking her dog, and she was hit by a guy going around 80 mph. Apparently she's escaped head or spinal injuries, but one shoulder is broken and one leg broken in 10 places. She's currently in surgery where they're rodding the entire length of her leg. She'll also have surgery on her shoulder later this week. Her name is Krista Smith. Please, I'd really appreciate it if you'd keep her in your prayers, guys.

First off, thanks everyone for your prayers so far. Quick update, the 1st surgery was successful... at least as successful as that type of surgery can be. It's intended to stabilize the bones so that the major breaks can began to knit. Follow up surgeries will be necessary to remove the pin (assuming the bones knit) and to implant other hardware.

Please keep praying, she's got one more surgery (on her broken shoulder) that's on the immediate horizon.
