Sorry the title is so blunt. This past Wednesday near Buda/Kyle, there was a car wreck where a car crossed the median and went into oncoming traffic. This was a friend that I've known for two years now that lives in my dorm at SWT. Adrian's life ended while going to pick up his sister from the airport then drive home to Houston for thanksgiving (the wreck was Wednesday morning) so the speculation is that he fell asleep. It's so sad that someone so young, that already had what he wanted to do in life planned out had to have an accident like this. His girlfriend, ex-roomate, and many other people that I have met are in a lot of my classes and we have contact quite a bit with eachother. Please pray for his family, friends and anyone else that has been touched by him. We're going to miss you Adrian.

Recently had a 7th grade student in our after school program pass from an asthma attack. To boot, on the way back Sunday night, I came across an accident just south of Hico on 281. Two college kids on their way back to Oklahoma from their holiday and they end up in this tragic accident. One had to be life flighted. I pray for your friend and for the others that need it.
