To the comments about Buddy and Smash's mom, that's one thing I've always loved about that show. It's brilliant casting. They look exactly like you would expect them to look. Buddy looks like a crazy booster. Smash's mom looks like she'd be Smash's mom.

The wedding at the end also made me laugh.

I met the actor who plays buddy at a bar in Dallas. Guy had just got off the golf course (Cedar Crest) and looked like he had just walked off the set (figuratively). Great guy and completely like he appears on screen. Just a regular guy (found out later that he played on Plano's state championship team back in the day). Told him how much I enjoyed the show and he was grateful for the support. This was back last summer when the 3rd season was still up in the air. Super pumped they are going to have two more seasons.

Kicking myself for not taking a photo with him (wife and a couple friends were with me at the time) because I am a big fan of his work on the show. I'm not usually the type to ever think to pull out a camera. Oh well.

Coach's wife isn't too shabby either along with all the other chicks on the show...

Great job by Peter Berg keeping this thing going. Now if we could just get a 2nd season out of Freaks and Geeks, I'll forgive NBC.

FYI, Target is selling a double-pack of Seasons 1 & 2 for $25 this week-- I couldn't pass that up!

I think season 3 will be out on DVD in early May.
