Poetic justice as Walsh smokes a double that hits the chalk to score two runs. Texas leads 7-5 as we go to the bottom of the 12th. Sooner lefty finally left one of his 100+ off speed crap over the plate.

Interesting to see if Milner comes back to pitch. Discharry was warming up, that would be a weird choice.

And another home run popup barely falls over the short left field corner.
Then we get a called third strike for first out. 7-6, all OU's runs coming from home runs.
 
French gets a K on a high and inside pitch that nearly hits the batter, swings to protect himself it looked like. Two outs now.

Comebacker and Texas wins 7-6! Very big W for the Horns in the conference opener.

The ownage of OU in baseball continues. They haven't won a series from us in a long time. Still two to go though and we went through a lot of pitchers.
 
This team may not achieve the kind of success to which we have become accustomed, but they have grit, and sometimes grit is its own reward. But I’ll take the win tonight.
 
Four homers for OU. Hmm, I think I remember hearing something about homers on the road with the wind blowing out could be a problem.

Looks like another forcasted great Aggy team is running into problems, losing midweek games and now this game with K-St. at home no less. Sounds like Wacha got whacked. Couldn't happen to a better bunch. I'm sure good ole Dave South took it well.
