just look at Belichick, he's a total ******* but he has had phenomenal success. how do you explain that?
point is, being 'nice' and 'classy' is not a surefire way of winning. you seem to be implying so. maybe in your examples, the employees should grow some tough skin instead... if I were a boss, I wouldn't want someone who just curls up and gets their feelings hurt at the slightest reprimand
