I think so too. But Republicans won't do it. They lose on purpose. DeSantis is the only Republican governor that did anything about voting systems and blew out his opponent. Even Abbott whines, cries, and only does the minimum to get reelected. Or is it Dan Patrick? Lt Gov is more powerful. Either way about 70% of Republicans are progressives. They just aren't quite as progressive as Democrats.
