For Real ....Herman “IS” Done!!!

No; I just am not providing you the answer you want which is aggy got a bargain. They did not if results on the field count (which is the only yardstick that counts). If the bank account is all that matters they may have.
“Bargain” is the word you keep using to avoid defending your own post, which used the phrase that Fisher’s contract was a “huge ripoff.”

The analysis of the Aggie's hiring Fisher, is not unlike our fifing Herman. The Aggies were looking at losing $20-25 million a year by keeping Sumlin, not to mention losing recruits from the negative recruiting. While I joked and made fun of the Fisher hiring and the Draconian terms, it and the SEC have allowed A&M to start earning a large profit.

Personally, I side with my friends in Baton Rouge all of whom think Fisher is a piece of **** and can't coach, but from a business standpoint the Aggies got lucky and have paid off their loans to the school.

looks good...

Thought many of you would want to know and would appreciate the perspective.

Joe and others have posted some incredibly insightful stuff in Recruiting boards -in particular 2021 board last few pages- that provides a closer look at what went wrong with Herman, some of his prior staff, and specifically with relationships to recruits and efforts on that front. Worth the time if you haven't already viewed...

Disclaimer: The information there will make you very upset and angry even

Would be kinda funny if the Herminator joined Barnes at little ut

I could see Herman at Tennessee if they can their current coach.

The Vols are neither a true blue blood team, nor a pure mid tier team like Miss State. They have won a NC in the last 25 years, and have had some good seasons and some history. So as in my post on the topic, I could see him going there, as I don't see him either going to a bottom feeder, nor a true blue blood team, not until he's rehabilitated his record, if he can, for CC's and rival wins.

I'd pay to see that. Herman and his ego sandwiched between Phat Phil .and the Haslems. That might be the biggest show since the gladiators in the Coliseum. Tennessee would need that 100,000 stadium (Named after a Texan) to try to contain those egos.
