For all you Eli haters

couple of things I respect and admire about him...

make it three

1. Withstood the media and team perceptions

2. Played on the winning team against, in succession, IN PLAYOFFS, Cowboys and Romo, Packers and Farve, Patriots and Brady.
Who has done anything like that lately?

3. Willed his team to a winning drive when many QBs would have wilted under the pressure and the psyche of the Patriots having done in everyone else in the final minutes.

The guy basically got it done and performed under fire when everything was on the line. He went up against both Brady and B-a-cheek and beat them for a world championship.

I don't get how people can hate Eli. Hate usually comes before aggy, sooners, stoops, etc around here. The guy led his team to 4 playoff wins, 3 of which were against better competition and/or tough conditions. He made 0 mistakes in the playoffs that hurt his team, and led a drive down the field it was has to be one of the tensest situations sports has to offer, against a team that was one stop from completing history. Who knows how good Eli will become, but for at least the last month, nobody was better than him. Not Favre, Romo, his brother, or Brady, the guy deserves a ton of credit, and no hate, he's a quality kid that despite all the **** he takes most of which deservedly so, but none the less he's a major reason the Giants are SB champs and that pole smoker Mercury Morris gets another 15 minutes of fame.

I'm only a hater because he was my fantasy quarterback for awhile and sucked red, raw ***. Then he hits the post season and he's Steve Young all the sudden.

That and he looks like a poorly executed clay sculpture of his brother. Kind of gives me the shivers.
