Flyover on Saturday?

I think helicopters do awesome flyovers, just like jets, just like C-130s...

They are all impressive in their own ways, and I respect the men and women who fly them all.

at about 5:30 superman will be there. I assume he'll flyover first.

I remember a TX/OU game back in the mid/late 90's (that era is a blur to me now) when they did a flyover with a bunch of Apache Helecopters. They were behind that big blue building on the south side of the stadium. You couldn't even hear them until they cleared the top of the building and it was the coolest thing I had ever seen! I like flyovers.

The B-1 Bomber flyover 2 year ago against Okie Lite was maybe the best I have ever seen.

He threw on the afterburners past the stadium and it was an amazing sight watching him leave Austin very quickly.

Another reason to attend NASCAR races. I've seen just about everything that flies. The B-1 the night we won it all was great, but the B-2 and the P-38, F-15 and whatever else the year before was better. I love flyovers.

We used to have great flyovers at Navy. There was nothing like a few F-14's hitting the burners as they crossed over the stadium. You could feel it.

You are confusing the B-1 with the B-2.

B-2 looks like Bat symbol (kinda of (.

B-1 looks more likt the SR-71 (the front at least).

I believe the B-2 was the one that flew over the rosebowl.

VinceHung,

The crazy part missing from your story is that Pabst is really Pearl who changed their name (company name, not beer name) to Pabst after Pearl bought Pabst. It's just a crappy beerfest in there with Pearl, Pabst, Colt45, Mickey's, etc. Lone Star is no treasure, but I prefer it over Bud/ Miller/ Coors. At least Lone Star has games under the top.

B1s are a high speed bomber, look like a big lawn dart, and have afterburners=LOUD and FLAME!

B2s are a low speed stealth bomber, look like a bat, don't have afterburners=quiet.

I saw the B1 with its afterbuners on. It was the coolest flyover I'll probably ever see. And you can't see a B2 flyover.

Vince will have to hire his own planes. It's Labor Day, not Veteran's Day.

B-1 was at the oklahoma State, the big dart like others have mentioned. That was cool, only thing that has surpassed that for me was flyover during Air Force Academy Graduation, that was a sight to see! They not only flew over (thunderbirds) but they also put on a 30+ minute show after graduation was done. They came screaming over the stadium right as the graduates were commenced or whatever. Amazing.
