Florida vs Miami

Did anyone see Tathaniel holding for kicks, or did somebody beat him out for that job too? Asking since I was at work and didn't see the game until UM's final pathetic drive.

Well the refs missed some of the action too.....Granted they did flag UF for PIs near the end, but why did they STOP ? The Miami TE was hit before the ball arrived and no flag. they also should not have picked up the flag on the PI in the end zone.....That was a Big 12 crew.....Makes me worry about the season.

Reason I disagree... #1 it WAS PI..... #2 after some of the BS PI calls against Miami during the game, as a ref who is worth a **** you have to call that too.

It wasn't PI. Miami lost the game because they are idiots. The L tackle could not block his man. Either put the TE over on that side, or have a back chip him. But you can't let a 3 person pass rush dismantle your QB time after time after time. I mean how stupid can Diaz be? Oh that's right, pretty friggin stupid. We certainly saw that at Texas. Robinson cleaned up his mess in 2 weeks.

They missed a false start that ended up being a TD for Florida. Can't recall if it was in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

All complaints about last nights officiating should be sent by email or snail mail to Bowlesby with a request that Walleye be replaced by either Mike or Cooper with that choice having complete control to drain the swamp and send the total incompetence provided the Big XII by Walt Anderson back to the youth league they came from.

My amateur analysis of Florida’s vaunted defensive front:

Adept at pass rushing against inferior and undisciplined offensive lines.

Nothing about Miami seems to change.
After the game as the Gator band was marching back to buses a female Cane fan tried to walk across the band as they marched. The band director tried to stop her and another Cane fan cold cocked him from behind.
What is it with idiot stupid fans of low rent schools and their classless attacks on opposing bands?

Like I said in a previous post, they missed a LOT of false starts. The email is on the way Sabre, I dang sure don't want they officiating any Texas games....

That program does seem to attract plenty of classless locals as fans. The irony is that U of Miami is actually a rich kids private school in a very nice neighborhood.

Point of comparison: you don't see Dallas local toughs showing their a$$ses at SMU games... Even USC fans (another comparable) may be arrogant, but they are not known for violence or this sort of classlessness.

Report this morning that the Florida band director was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground for trying to stop a woman walking through their lines as they left the stadium.

Love the FSU band director verbally attacking the convict "fans" for their tradition behavior. FSU defending UF is like Aggies defending us.

Not sure whether I would have taken the points had I been hanging around in Vegas for the game, but I did not expect this to be a touchdown difference. The game SHOULD have been a blowout but neither team seems to know how to take advantage of the opportunities handed to them on a platter. Miami was more concerned with embracing the hood-bling mentality while Florida needs to learn what Sitck-um is.

On the bright side...I have the under on Miami with the 8.5 season win total. Getting the first of four needed L's early helps the rest of the season as I was not sure they had four losses to be found the rest of the way through the season...
