Glad I kept my day job(as of Friday):
The dow is only down 5%,
Nasdaq is down 8-9%
S&P500 down about 10%,
10Yr rate is down a full percentage point+ (flight to quality)
Oil is up 30$+,
Gold is up 200$+,
all this with a month to go.
Should have put the dollar/Euro ratio, dollar/yen ratio too.
We'll do that for next year.

What a turbulent year for investors.
Here is where we stand nearly 2 years after the original post:
Dow 8,516 47.07
Nasdaq 1,5305.34
S&P 500 8734.65
Global Dow 1,4855.75
Oil $37.71 2.36
Gold $871.20 23.20
the biggest change is the oil market going from the 60$ range up to $140+ per barrel and now down in the $35-40 per barrel range. That makes the stock market collapse look like a teaparty.(despite many funds losing 50% or more)
What happens in teh coming year o great hornfans prognosticators?
