I will tell you who it was: Martellus Bennett's brother. Took some cheap shots at NE the year the Patriots stole the Super Bowl from Seattle. I'd like to say most people get better with age, and we've all made mistakes, so I want to cut the guy some slack. But I agree. He's a POS. But lots of Aggies are.

Personally, I'm glad we're playing them. Playing TCU or Tech on or around Thanksgiving just wasn't doing it for me. Yes, losing to the ags sucks BIG TIME. So, let's not lose.

Of course Arkansas hates us. Doesn't everybody? I guarantee if it isn't happening already, every SEC will be doing the Horns down thing before long. And in the 1960's, the SWC champion almost always came down to whichever team won the UT-Ark game. It was a big game for both sides.

That "politician" was/is Rickie Perry's best friend. One of my great fears was that somehow this country has enough cretins to elect Rickie president, and he then appoints you know who as either chief of staff or Secretary of State.

Deep red Haskell County up north of Abilene wouldn't have got him elected, he was despised in those parts. His momma and daddy were loved, but Slick Rick sure wasn't. There used to be a little taqueria in Haskell with a sign on the door 'No shirt, no shoes, no Rick Perry'...

Randy Galloway of Ft Worth radio made a big deal out of laughing about Cart McCoy. Galloway was a big Jackie Sherrill fan and although he went to Baylor hr lived the Aggies and hated the Horns. Jackie won and cheated all of the way.

My daughter-in-law's uncle was a starting o-linemen for Arky in the '69 and '70 games. He told me that the '70 game was a butt whooping and he accepted that. But he says he still can't get over the fact that they lost the '69 game. He's a good dude, by the way. I enjoy talking to him. The daughter-in-law's mother and sister to the uncle was a UT cheerleader at the same time. There is a great picture of the two of them, both in their respective uniforms, before the game started.

Karla married a Longhorn and they had three kids who are all Longhorns. Her daughter married our son who is also a Longhorn. At least two of their four kids bleed Burnt Orange. The remaining two are too young to be sure yet.
