Never thought I'd be asking for your prayers, nor did I know how difficult it would be, but so far mine have been unanswered. My 89 yr.old Dad took a fall last week and was hospitalized with pneumonia and disorientation and the prognosis is not good. Although he didn't go to college he did inspire my love for Texas by buying me a pair of burnt orange football pants over 50 years ago. His favorite player was Jack Crain, and he loved to tell me about his unique running style. So if you can find the time to say a prayer for him i'd be so gratefull.

Thanks to all of you for the prayers. We lost the battle and he will be laid to rest tomorrow. Hardest thing I've ever had to deal with because we were very close. His passing was something I l dreaded, since he was diagnosed with cancer 14 years ago. He beat cancer but sucumbed to pneumonia.

The loss of your Dad is never easy but what a blessing that he was here for 89 years. My Dad was 95 when he passed 2 years ago. I miss him.

Prayers for you and your family. Hopefully you are comforted by a lifetime of special memories and the knowledge that you were a joy to him.
