its funny however like all shows over time they run dry on jokes. However when brian farted the bubblegum bubble out that was pure genius and damn near had me crying.

On the Road to Rhode Island is one of my favorite TV moments.

However, South Park ruined Family Guy for me, too. Every random joke, all I can think of is "Joke Ball."

everyone on this thread does realize that all the moments referenced on here as funny and validating Family Guy, all occurred in the first 3 seasons? bluepies is correct, the show was good but now sucks balls. somewhere along the line they just lost it, cancel it and get it out of its misery.

When Peter told Meg she couldn't abstain from sex because she was a "practice girl" was the funniest line I can remember on tv. Family Guy is great, and I think the new ones are just as funny.

"Blue Harvest" is unadulterated comic genius. Also, the episode in which Peter grows the moustache is an example of a hilarious episode post-Season 3.

Stewie Kills Lois, and Lois Kills Stewie were both SOLID post season 3 episodes. (season 6 I believe)

those of you acting like family guy is the only show that uses/used a pre-packaged formula (in this case, recalling/recounting old stories) must not pay very close attention to every other show on tv. it might be more subtle, but every show gets into a cycle.

how about when peter suggsted that meg would be fending off multiple suitors by saying "when i get done with you, you'll be beating guys off with both arms"!

It just never gets old to me.
Peter (after Lois tells him he's childish): "If I'm a child that means you're a pedophile, and I don't consort with pedophiles."

Makes me laugh everytime.

solid eps yes, but overall for the season how does they compare to the first 3? to be fair, i used to love the show (road to RI, rosie perez, petoria, etc) but lately when i chime in for one ep here and there its a big disappointment. i haven't seen the majority of the latter seasons so i'll give it a try but to be honest, the parts i have seen haven't made me want to watch more.
