Fall ball results

Oct 21: 9-3 win over 2012 regional finalist SHSU. I arrived a bit late and had to leave about 2:30 when we had just gone up 8-0.

What's up with no report on texassports.com (and no discussion here!)?

The writeup from BON seems to incorrectly call SHSU a super-regional participant last season, but is interesting nonetheless.

I watched the game on LHN wow does Texas have a lot of tall pitchers and bball players this year. I love the new Frosh CJ Hinajose wow a great bball he is going to be for the horns

it is nice to see Cohl Walla out there and hitting. He got a good reception. It did appear that we were hitting better

the concessions at the fall game stank. and there was a guy behind me that talked too much, otherwise it was a pleasant day at the park.

Im sure its way too early, but Im always optimistic, but this team looks good. Gonna be fun to watch.

For whatever its worth, a friend of mine's son plays for Sam Houston. He said Texas looked much better this year in the scrimmage than they did last year. Appeared to be faster and bigger.
