A few fun facts regarding our next opponent:

- 33-24 overall; 14-16 in conference
- Finished 6th in the SEC West
- Were swept by Fresno State early in the season
- Won series against Florida, Vandy and LSU
- Lost the first game in 9 of their 10 conference series
- Lost their first and only game of the SEC tourney

I saw an interview yesterday on ESPN with the head of the NCAA baseball committee. He said that the agroids were among the last four teams to be considered for the tourney.

So the sheep farmers came within a hair of not even making the cut.

Should be a very interesting Friday night game. Wonder if the dead dogs will be watching.

We are expected to win this game. And anyone who knows baseball, knows anything can happen. We must take our opponents seriously, regardless of who they are, even more so, aggy. The players need to play hard for themselves and their school. Period. Come game 2, I want to be playing Rice.

On paper and the W-L record says the Horns are a better team but in baseball that means very little. Plus you can be sure aggy will step up and play hard to beat the hated tea-sippers.
