Eyes of Texas

Same crap. Leaving the field before the EoT.

That is disappointing. As a former collegiate athlete, I totally understand being upset about losing the game. However, it is just a game and the game does not define us as a person. How we handle defeat after a tough loss speaks more to who we are. I know all the players and coaches had to be very upset about the loss. Yet I believe ALL of the players and coaches should have remained on the field for the playing of the school song. I applaud the ones who stayed on the field representing the University of Texas.

With road games, I’m not sure the players, coaches need to stay on the field any longer than necessary in this day and age - once the game is over -win or lose - get to the locker room -the way we get treated on the road, it’s inviting trouble
Home games - completely different story - it’s a must

How hard is it to click the image for a full size image? It is clearly Ewers.
Yep. One #3 is black, the other, white. One has long blond hair. Tough to miss.

I’ll give QE credit for hanging around. He’s going to have a “very tough two weeks.” That is, unless his resides in a bubble. It’s simply the nature of being a celebrated QB… Comes with the territory.

Maybe the students and fans that made the effort to travel for a road game appreciate it?

baseballgawd,

Truly sorry you never met Frank Erwin. Frank is hugely responsible for making The University of Texas into a "University of the First Class", a public ivy, a Tier One University. See also how we got George Kozmetsky or how I got an "A" in Business Communication without ever attending a class after the first day.

This, precisely! Whether in victory or defeat, as the song says, "The eyes of Texas are upon you." Act like it.
