Elon Musk Stuff

I'm sure Twitter's advertisers wouldn't take such a cavalier view if the number of bots and fake accounts is significantly higher than what they were told.

Best case for Elon is they want this to go away and they let him out at $1 billion and he sells off all of his shares. That's my prediction. Otherwise, only the lawyers get rich.

To pretend that you didn't know that Twitter had way too many bots is like an aggy pretending that yell practice and the crap with the overalls and dogs is "normal".
Do you not understand that lying about the bot percentages is a violation of securities law? They are a publicly-traded company. Their quarterly and annual reports are required to be as accurate as possible.

Remember that the cooked books is what did Enron in...

If they are lying about the company financials and operations, he will not pay anything except attorney fees.

I'll go with my predictions, you guys go with yours. We'll see. I like the track record on this issue of those that I listen to. I think the question is will Leon (as Trump called him) see the utility of settling and not paying attorneys so much money.

You clearly DO NOT trust them, or you would have shorted $TWTR.

It would have been the most Demx thing you could possibly do...taking money from other people while you did nothing.

Bubba
So you are ok with Twitter continually lying about % of bots since everyone knows Twit is lying.
No. But, that's like Manning trying to get out of his commitment if Q Ewers lights it up this fall. You knew the guy had talent, otherwise, he wouldn't have been 4th string at tOSU. :)

Everyone knows there is a certain amount of bots.

You express mixed messages. On one hand you accuse me of being trailer dwelling trash with less than the appropriate amount of teeth and then you criticize me for NOT playing Gordon Gecko on the stock market. You can't have it both ways. :)

We used to have some other dump-dweller around here who clearly didn't understand the put markets and has never been seen again since the $GME debacle on RobinHood and other sites...

Lack of significant funds does not preclude one from having dabbling money...

But Bubba just because "everyone knows"does not excuse Twitter from lying.
If investigation shows what you say everyone knows Twitter will lose court case and likely be investigated further.
Really your argument is meaningless in the context of the legal proceedings

Notice a lot of bubba’s arguments don’t hold up to scrutiny in a court of law? Like Rittenhouse and other court rulings.

Like I said, we will see.

See what?
If as You say everyone knows Twitter's percent of spam bots is larger than the 5% Twitter has declared Twitter will have lied and will lose

So Bubba what exactly will "we see"?

If it is shown that Twitter has more than 5% bots Twits lose and Musk wins, something you've posted won't happen once again you will be wrong
But if Twitter is shown to have a larger %
Something you say "everyone knows "
You are trying to be on both sides.

A judge in Delaware will decide this, not anonymous posters on a football message board.

Bubba,

Indeed a judge and/or jury will decide this before it is appealed before it goes over to First Street while the lawyers drink beer & eat burgers at The Tune Inn while listening to DAC, Hank Jr, and Waylon on the jukebox.

I would advise you that Twitter has a whole lot of "Southern exposure"

If there is no "Southern exposure", they have some great creative accountants and really good shredders.

Listened to a podcast on this. He violated the clause about not disparaging twitter and its executives. There were poop emojis in their filing. Speaking as a common receiver of said poop emojis, that is disparaging. He now has unclean hands and cannot use said contract to get out of the sale or the buyout. The legal expert said they will settle somewhere between $1B and $20/share.

Disclaimer: I’m not an attorney.

I am not a fan of Musk, electric cars, or his invasion of Travis County, but I hope he takes them to the cleaners, resulting in all those internet frauds out there crumbling as they have their reporting scrutinized by someone other than incapable government grunts.

That pooping was well done.
