Ehlinger vs. Brewer

So I think only one team from the SEC is likely. That leaves Clemson, tOSU or Penn State and one other. I’d love to see Utah make the tournament.
I have a sense that there are still some surprises out there.

Harbaugh really needs a win. If his D plays lights out, maybe.

Georgia seems to never live up to the hype. They’ll probably lose either to Ga Tech or LSU.

As much as it kills me to day this, Aggie will give LSU a game. I know that LSU is looking for revenge but it often doesn’t work out that way.

Auburn will challenge Bama.

I agree with most all you said if not all of what you said. Would be pretty awesome to see Utah make it. No conference should ever have 2 teams in unless the format changes to either a 8 or more team playoff.

I won't be shocked if two SEC teams are in the Playoffs. But after the year Bama was put in and didn't even play for their conference championship, I have lost all respect and interest in the college playoff games and usually don't watch them. I did watch last year since I had a feeling Clemson was going to crush Bama, and they did.

What's your reasoning for only 1 SEC team? Bama is currently at 5 and if LSU beats UGA, UGA has 2 losses which puts Bama 4th. If Georgia beats LSU, LSU will be the 1st one loss team chosen. Only way 2 SEC teams doesn't make is either a big upset (Auburn or A&M), or an SEC teams gets passed by Utah or OU. How does OU make it with a loss to KState when Bama's loss is to #1. Or are you saying Bama or LSU gets beat? Certainly possible, but not probable. Hopefully Auburn gets it done. Also hoping OSU can beat the gooners. Would not bet on either of those though. Thinking SEC doesn't get 2 teams is just wishful thinking IMHO, but not looking at current rankings or history.

In many ways I can agree that you should always go with the top 4 teams but too often we see SEC bias. What makes a 1 loss Georgia or 1 loss Alabama any better than a 1 loss Utah, 1 loss OU, 1 loss Baylor, 1 loss Oregon, etc...? I see your logic and understand, but sometimes a team just doesn't show up to play and loses no matter who it is they're playing. And sometimes a team barely wins a couple of games that easily have gone the other way (Baylor, OU, ISU, in the Big 12) such as Clemson and LSU. My opinion doesn't matter because the pollsters will always be contrary to many of use think the way it should be.
