We had zero traffic issues going to Waco this morning (left pretty early), but plenty of it coming home. Worth it all though!

I left my house in Arlington to drive to Fort Worth (on I-20 and Loop 820 to I-35W, exit Berry) at 5:45 last evening. Traffic level was pretty much normal - so if there was extra traffic in Fort Worth for the eclipse, it had gone back to normal within a couple hours.

My son noticed that in the picture with Venus, the sun appears to be an eye in a face. Cool, what shapes you can see in the sky.

I understand there were 3 Southwest flights from Dallas to Indianapolis that flew through the eclipse.

So, why is it that nature becomes perfectly quiet during the eclipse?
