EA Sports got the BCS right

So with an unbeaten Michigan and W Va at No. 1 and 2, Tennessee upsets LSU in the SEC title game, jumps from No. 6 to No. 3 (ahead of one-loss Texas after we blew out Nebraska for the Big XII title game) and plays for the national championship.

Hmmm... yeah that sounds about right actually!

I thought I was the only one who still played NCAA 08, but I guess I'm wrong. Are you on Xbox360? If so, what's your gamertag?

NCAA 08 often has weird **** like that. Undefeated Boise State is 12th all year, then jumps to 3 at the end. Also two teams i beat earlier in the year play for the NC because I lost to the 5th ranked team near the end of the year

wow. i don't know if Tank is trying to be funny or just mean...

I'm on PS2 - I haven't done much playing online just because I'm so bad at it that I'd rather stick to beating the computer and getting hosed out of MNCs.

And btw, Tank? Wow???

I just moved up to the heisman level.
that's a whole new ball game. WOW
i went 13-0 last year.
this year i am 4-4. went 0-2 today losing 31-7 and 40ish-14.
with zero offensive TDs

I'm the biggest ea football geek out there. I've gotten to the point where I can import any of the worst 1aa teams: Bethune Cookman, Northern Arizona, Hampton, place one of the above teams in the SEC and win an NC in my first season, in Heisman mode. USC gives me the most trouble, but I can usually beat them.

I schedule USC, WVU, Mich, and Louisville as my non-conf. and play in the SEC east.

you need to do a better job of explaining here.

why the heck did #3 team plan for the MNC when #1 and #2 are still undefeated?

West Va. gets left out of the NC game with 13-0 records all the time in NCAA, especially if it's the first year of Dynasty mode. Funny glitch, but in a sad sort of way.

You guys must be 40+. Games are mainstream. Get with the times old man!

We play video games and vote for black guys to be president. It's a new world now!

EDIT: WTF is "The Breakfast Club" and a MUD? Is that from the Nixon era? Why exactly would you need a 100 sided dice for anything when you have a perfectly good computer generated number randomizer?

EDIT EDIT: NVM. I just wiki'ed it. That's when you use the internet to quickly learn about things you don't know from a web site called Wikipedia. Remember the old days when you guys used encyclopedias? It's like that but better.

Back to the original topic, my latest season ended like this in the BCS. Va Tech and Michigan played for the championship.

1. Virginia Tech (undefeated)
2. Meatchicken (undefeated)
3. Oregon (undefeated)
4. Nebraska (undefeated)
5. USC (two losses)
6. Texas (one loss)
7. TCU (undefeated)
8. Houston (undefeated)

Wild.

I took the task of taking a 1 star team to a 6 star level.

I decided to take SMU under my wing. Started off 3-9 my first season. Then, went 9-3, 10-2, 10-2, and just went 13-0 to win the National Championship this morning! I still have an overall average team (B's and B-'s on offense and defense), but I have averaged 3 INTs on defense a game. Pass D still sucks overall (bad coverage), but my linebackers are all A+ players.

I am now just starting to be able to consistantly interest 4 star recruits. I think over the 5 years, I have only been able to hook 3 or 4 5 star players....I hope the NC will help with that problem.

I also got an invite to join the Big 12, which I did......they used SMU to replace Baylor, which dropped into the CUSA.

Beating Texas hurt. I won by 3 points, which Texas almost came back from (INT at the 5 yeard line closed the win). I just defeated #1 Wisconsin.....#3 was HOUSTON, of all teams.

The fact that BC broke several industry sales records, you’d think there would be more references to it on this board. I don't remember seeing anything on Cactus when it came out, but I was playing it 20 hours a day at the time.

Uses my level 22 Druid powers to turn Tank into a large penis with ears and bad breath.

2d10 +3 with a chance of success at 12+

I then frustrate because nobody notices a difference.

I'm wondering if at some point EA Sports might throw in an optional playoff system. I have a feeling the NCAA wouldn't allow it, but still, that would be cool.
