I think you're correct about the need to abolish food subsidies. I'm good with that.
I'm sure you've heard the phrase "two wrongs don't make a right". Well that's what you seem to be advocating.
Let gov't spend mil/billions subsidizing it and then spend mil/billions undoing the damage. That seems to me to fit the definition of illogical and uninformed.
Gov't doesn't do very much correclty. It is, and likely always will be, hugely inefficient, and considerably corrupt. Therefore I advocate having gov't DO very little.
