Donald Trump, the "Twitter" POTUS

Aha...many of his statements are the declarative equivalent of "you can keep your doctor".

Really? He hasn't even been in office yet. That's amazing. The two things I've notice that he's done well before taking office is with his picks of an all star cabinet and convincing businesses to stay in America.

On a different note would you rather I depend on CNN to translate his words how they want or read his Twitter post and decide for myself? I don't think we need sources when he post directly to us. Do you?

Not saying I hang on all his tweets as gospel by any reasonable stretch. Just saying context here SH. Oh, and I'm not condemning those who disagree with me but I happen to consider that, the chose your plan and your Dr crap to be particularly heinous. Just my opinion.

Is it heinous because it was a bigger lie or because it was more consequential?

One theory that a friend of mine in the treasury department has is that Trump is basically using Twitter to keep the media outraged and busy chasing idiotic stuff like debates over event attendance. Meanwhile, he's left free to work on executive orders, hold meetings and get stuff done without having to have a lot of media scrutiny about it.

Frankly I don't think he cares whether 30 percent (and maybe more) of the population despises him and obsesses about every tweet. He knows he can tweet whatever he wants, no matter how outrageous, and the worst that will happen is that the media will call him a liar. Which they already do.

My guess is he's gambling that in two years, the economy is going to be rebuilt, people will be working, and no one's going to care whether the fringe left is still hyperventilating about something he tweeted. We'll see if it pays off, I guess.
