Does TCU have a chance to beat ou this year?

Gary Patterson always fields a strong defense, which usually gives them a chance to stay in any game they play. However, TCU's offense is perpetually moribund. Keys will be to limit the offense to avoid mistakes and try and force Bradford into INTs. Bradford handled pressure pretty well last year, but he did not finish on high note and that malaise can be a hangover (see Colt early season last year). TCU can stay in it with defensive speed and forcing turnovers, otherwise they are screwed.

Maybe I've been drinking too much of the TCU koolaid, but i think they have a very real chance to win. It basically comes down to execution - on both sides of the ball. If the TCU offense can control the clock on offense and stay away from 2nd and 3rd and long, and then get points in the red zone, they'll have a chance. But they'll need help from the defense. What they'll need to do is force a lot of 3 and outs on the ousucks offense. A few key tunrovers will also help the offense by shortening the field. Additionally, stay away from penalities, injuries and turnovers.

Barring any single one of these happening, no, they won't win.

When you have a quarterback named Dalton, you always have a chance.

TCU has a chance just like any other team, but it's just not very high.

I think the land thieves better worry more about Cincinnati coming into Norman and beating them. Their 'D' last year was absolutely sick and they lost to Louisville, Pitt, and WVU by a combined 16 points and held each of those teams to 28 points or less.
