Does ANYONE do less with more?!?!

Do you live in Texas? I have to have to have the Premium package up here to get LHN. Of course, not sure how much longer I will need to have LHN with the current staff. I love the other features and shows and historical games but not enough to keep watching this crap show and the Herman pressers, etc.
When I was in Florida, that would have been the only way I could have gotten the LHN. But here in Michigan, I get LHN with the uverse basic package. Same for when I was in San Diego.

AT&T must like Texas a lot more there in Michigan. I had U-verse up until 6 months ago. Had to go with one of the more premium packages to get LHN.

Maybe the college football gods are trying to tell me something.

How’s the internet?
I had TW for 10+ years and then changed to Uverse to get LHN and a better bundle price from AT&T. 6 years and the bundle advantage expired. I had Internet 18 and it rose to Intenet 24 mbps and after some upgrades they changed me to Internet 50 mbps.
My internet has gotten faster and cheaper over the last 6 years with AT&T. Today I pay $41/mo w tax for Internet 50.

Today is 54mbps and 12 mbps on speedtest with four windows open and two email clients open. We commonly have two PCs and two smartphones and one DTV Now running with no apparent change in speed most pms.

I work out of home office so it is more than ample.

Had one outage and one router replaced in last 2 years.

Live in Mopac at Parmer area Northwood.

Aggies are the most over achieving program in college football history, just look at their trophy case in Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, and Baton Rogue. That is a lot of aggy hardware.

I have found PlayStation Vue to be a great option for football. It is $44.95 and carries FS1, LHN, all ESPN channels and for $10 more you can add some others like NFL Network, etc. All you need is a decent internet connection.

For me - and my limited but important streaming, it is all about the internet. Thanks for the info Pecos. I have begrudgingly stuck with Xfinity because of internet, ONLY because of internet. Well that and the remote streaming where wife can get channels in Tenn when we're there and only have internet.
Have wanted to change for a LOOOONG time but internet kept me from it. Has been a continual issue with me that they will not add LHN.
Thanks for the reply.

I have AT&T U-verse, but Spectrum for internet [400 down; 25 (or more at times) up] and streaming works fine. Spectrum TV sucks big time from a technology viewpoint. When the U-verse comes up in February I will probably switch to DirecTV Now based on what I have been reading which has been confirmed by PecosBill.

Is there a cap on that? How much TV can you stream?

I should have clarified...this is a online TV service....not internet provider. There is no limit to it's use, but you have to have internet service through someone else. This is primarily for those who do not have or want a cable TV company but wish to watch sports and other programming. Since I already pay someone for internet service (Verizon) that aspect of it isnt really a cost for me.

I get it. You are streaming TV through the internet. Many of the internet providers cap the amount of data you can stream per month.
