But really, you got some great angles, especially that one half way up the road to the band hall. You can really see how massive it is.

i agree.....we need to see that one more in the future! it looks like we are going to get to see tons of exterior advances now that the structure is more or less complete. with tons of workers freed up to work on the exterior stuff i suspect we can see the brick really move fast now.

Thanks for the fix. I was about to give up. Great pics.

The brickwork probably would be done on an egually large one story building. Very hard to move men and materials on scaffolds quickly. Looking very good. A lot more action going on inside also.

I hope they put a video tour on Mackbrown-texasfootball.com when it is finishsed.

I doubt the brickwork and exterior move along any more quickly, like drborange said, theres only so many guys you can get on scaffolding.

I always think it's so strange that these gigantic structures are built up around a big plot of grass.

Not sure why, but it's interesting.

The 7th pic is awkward for me. The gap and the fact that the west upperdeck being so much taller than the rest of the north upperdeck gives me the illusion that the north side isn't all that huge.

As some people have noticed, my attempt was to shoot from angles that allow everyone to see how amazingly large this structure really is. Even my pictures don't do it justice. For those of y'all that haven't seen it in person, you will be amazed next time you visit.

It was tough to find a good angle inside the stadium. But I promise once you are inside you'll take back your comments. It doesn't look like an addition or after thought. It blends perfectly with the existing structure. And it is amazingly large and it'll be a scary sight for the visiting teams. I promise.

that gap/notch between the north and existing west deck drives me CRAZY!!

I am going to go totally OCD about it. I deperately want it filled in. I don't care if it doesn't line up or blocks sight lines. That stupid gap needs to be filled.

Did i mention it was driving me crazy?!

That gap will also be one of the only places that has a great view of both inside and outside the stadium.... well a very short few steps at least. I think it wouldn't be a bad place at all to be able to get out of your seat and still take it all in.

Honestly it'd bug me a lot more if I didn't know there would be a gap on the other side with the SEZ finished. For now, it's just a little unique quirk that only DKR will have.

I love the gap for one reason.... and only one reason.

I can't wait to take a picture from the student section (somewhere above where the band sits). The foreground will be a stadium full of burnt orange clad fans. The background will be the tower. Oh man is that gonna be a beautiful picture.

They should put something there. whether its an office or something. But i have to admit, it does make DKR unique. I just think it would look better with somthing there. what do you guys think about that?
