Allsome. It may have been discussed already, but I did not see it. The first or second photo shows workers putting down some kind of black roof material or something. My question is why is that big notch or void there and no stands? It is a natural place to stop and seats in that notch would have bad sightlines due to the West Side Upper Deck?

I agree. Pictures of the stadium with the sun out are much better but I can't wait for the weather. I take pictures when I have free time to do so which isn't often.

I'd kiss you, but that's less than manly. Consider this post a right-punch to the shoulder and a good-naturedly shove into buffet. All in jest, of course. Apparently, Shiner 97 makes me aggressive -- if only virtually.

Finally, they seem to be really ramping up the progress on the exterior. It is really coming together.

Pretty amazed when I saw those 4 guys working on the top of one of the towers in the 5th pic.

The notch to me looks like they have access to it so it must be either going to be used for pedestrian access or possibly camera crews. Stands may not have a sight line but I am not so sure if the 1st row is bad or not.

I'm looking at the ~3x3" square metal fasteners in between the suite level and the club level that only appear in the center of the NEZ. They look the same as the brackets used to install the ribbon boards on the east side two years ago. It was back in Summer of 2006, but NatChampUT posted pics with them in one of the Godzillatron construction update threads.

We may need another update this weekend. Upper deck only has 3 sections left to be filled in as of today. Although it won't be fully paitned, polished, etc, once it is fully filled in we will be able to finally see the completed structure from the inside.

Over the past two nights each section of the upper deck has been put in. Tonight the last section of risers should be put in.

It is 2:00 am Friday and there is only one riser left to be placed!! By the time most of you read this, it will be done

It is 4:15 in the morning and I am supposed to be studying for a final, but I can not help myself, I keep looking at the web-cam!!! My god can football season get here!

The stadium looks awesome at night and it looks even better closed in.
