I should have waited a few hours for the sun to come out but these turned out ok.

Great pics.

I wonder how difficult it is going to be to connect the NEZ upper deck with the East side upper deck.

Simkins, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for you post (and others like it). Ohio sucks, and these picks make it somewhat tolerable. Hell, make it very tolerable.

i think this thing is beautiful! in another 2 months the structure should be more or less in place...

Think about, it won't be long. March 1st on Sat. and what August 31 home opener... 6 months from now - it will be very historic and inspiringly grand

The rebar is almost topped out! It won't be long before they hit the highest concrete part at the top of the upper deck!

So much has been done, it's amazing.

Thank you indeed. This is one hell of a design.

Cool to see the 3rd tower progress. I know rain is forecasted but looks like they are real close to another large conrete pour. Club and box sections are now almost completely framed out, just the NE corner remains. Hope they install video boards on that concrete wall all the way around the stadium.

I know these pics are amazing (thanks to all who have contributed) but there is no way to justice to the size of this beast unless you've seen in it person. From directly the behind the NEZ, looking directly inward at the "Gate" or overhang structure, the view is simply absurd. I swear it looks like the entrance into the shipyard that built the Titanic or maybe the hanger for a Boeing 747. I'd guess the gate itself is somewhere around 75 ft high and nearly 120 ft + wide. I think those that have been to the 'Shoe in Columbus and were impressed by the size will be VERY impressed with what we have going up. Incredibly imposing.

We have never been known to have the best gameday atmosphere in college football, or be it the loudest stadium. I think that this season that will change. The north endzone will trap so much noise, and add many seats. Our gamedays are gonna be sickkkkk!

by the way, do any of you guys know whether the new north endzone will be in ncaa football 09?

what is going to be in the NW gap between the upper decks? it appears they are pouring a slab there. is this for concessions?

I went by and looked around today (sorry, didn't have a camera). You can kinda tell from the pics, but they've completely painted the stairs, rails, and entrances to match the rest. It looks amazing. More of the top of the boxes has been poured, and it's getting a lot closer to connecting to the existing boxes.

plus the infrastructure for the upper deck is finally getting into place. looks vicious!

Some new award winning, superlative, amazing, examples of the best photography ever would certainly be appreciated.
