We NEED Urban Meyer. I for one, would settle for Matt Campbell. Hopefully, we don’t have to deal with that.

Returning emails is hard. But seriously, we got spoiled by Mack. Nobody was better at managing the personal/political side of things than he was. To the point that he actually got heat for it.

His replacement didn't have that skill set. And neither does the current coach. Perhaps his replacement will.

And though some here understand the importance of this^^^^ at UT, there are many who can't see.....when saying "So, its tough at places like Bama, Ohio St, ou, etc".....the peripheral and political stuff a coach must navigate just seems much greater here. (This is certainly the outside perception, as well)
I have raised a few good candidates in my mind as alternatives to Meyer if that falls through and the #1 reason I nix most of them has more to do with "us" than "them"

I don't think he is even under consideration; I am just very impressed with the chicken salad he made at Baylor after Art was ****-canned.
